Job summary

Morrison Foerster is seeking a Technical Manager for the People Team on the Information Technology team in Palo Alto. The role combines hands-on development in .NET with architecture and integration work, connecting Workday to vi by Aderant and other enterprise systems.

You will partner with HR and talent stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, while leading the SDLC, governance, and data quality across the people technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–7 years in software development or systems integration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong .NET development experience (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API) and experience integrating Workday with downstream systems.
• Familiarity with HR/talent management processes and security/compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday, vi by Aderant, and other systems using Boomi and Intapp.
• Lead architecture and SDLC for people systems, including deployment, testing, and documentation.
• Partner with HR/talent stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor team members and manage vendor coordination and system upgrades.
• Ensure data governance and regulatory compliance within the people tech stack.
