Job summary

CBRE seeks a People Business Partner to support rollout and communication of HR initiatives across the organization. The role sits in the People Strategy and Operations function, focusing on design, execution and monitoring of HR programs and policies.

You will work with managers to develop onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management, while guiding employee relations and risk mitigation. This position involves travel and site visits across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant HR experience; degree optional with experience.
• Strong analytical judgment across multiple information sources.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft and SmartSheet.
• Excellent organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Travel readiness: up to 40% monthly and up to 50% walking in facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, career ladders, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Provide employee relations guidance, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Identify employment-related risks with managers and support investigations and grievances.
• Manage HR functions for a business unit including employment, labor relations, and compensation.
• Conduct trainings on performance management, diversity, and related topics.
• Apply standard HR techniques to deliver innovative solutions.
