Job summary

COMC is seeking a Head of People to lead the People function and partner with the CEO and executive team. In this hands-on role, you will run engagement programs, manage employee relations, and guide leaders in workforce planning and organizational design to drive business outcomes.

You will be responsible for HR strategy across benefits, payroll, and compliance while shaping a positive, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a strategic HR leader who drives business outcomes.
• Hands-on operator in a small, fast-moving environment.
• Experience designing engagement programs and improving culture and retention.
• Strong employee relations experience including investigations and coaching managers.
• Comfort using data to tell a story and inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to CEO and exec team translating goals into people priorities.
• Partner with leaders on org design, workforce planning, and team effectiveness.
• Define and track people metrics tied to performance and retention.
• Lead engagement programs, surveys, and action planning with leaders.
• Oversee talent acquisition, performance, development, and compensation programs.
• Ensure HR foundation via payroll, benefits, policies, and HRIS.
