Job summary

Momentum is seeking a Director of Human Resources to provide strategic and operational leadership across HR for a multi-location organization. Reporting to the CEO, you will align people strategies with business objectives while overseeing employee relations, talent acquisition, total rewards, compliance, performance management, engagement, payroll support, and HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience across employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits, compliance, and performance management.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or similar certification preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS/payroll system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across HR functions for a multi-location organization.
• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead and develop HR teams and ensure effective HR service delivery.
• Offer guidance on employee relations, investigations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, workforce planning, and recruitment partnerships.
• Direct benefits, leave administration, and compliance initiatives.
• Partner with payroll and leaders on workforce reporting and personnel administration.
• Lead employee engagement, talent development, succession planning, and retention programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Manage HR vendors, budgets, metrics, and reporting.
• Support growth, change management, and continuous improvement efforts.
