Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a hands-on HR operations lead to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits questions. You’ll shape policy updates, audit processes, and partner with payroll and HR Administration to remove blockers.

You’ll drive an AI-first redesign of HR ops, building scalable, compliant processes and owning day-to-day HR operations over time. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of in-house HR generalist experience across states are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
• 2+ years of hands-on in-house HR generalist work across states
• Experience with payroll, benefits, and compliance filings
• Ability to draft policies and implement across employee classifications and pay ranges
• Interest in integrating AI into HR operations

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state compliance tracking and policy updates
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions
• Review and unblock Payroll and HR Administration work
• Rethink HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset
• Grow into day-to-day HR operations ownership over time
