Jerry.ai is seeking an experienced HR Operations & Compliance Lead to own multi-state policies, payroll questions, and benefits guidance. This hands-on role requires in-house experience and the ability to draft clear policies while integrating AI into HR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years of hands-on HR generalist experience with policy drafting and payroll.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team handling payroll, benefits, and compliance.
• Excited to build with AI.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state HR compliance and policy updates from drafting to implementation.
• Lead annual compliance audits and handbook refresh.
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions.
• Review and unblock Payroll and HR Administration team work.
• Redesign HR ops processes with AI-native mindset.
• Grow into day-to-day HR operations ownership.
