Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking an experienced People Operations professional to own core HR systems and processes, including onboarding, HRIS integrity, benefits administration, and compliance across a multi-state workforce.

You will be the operational backbone of the people team, building scalable processes in Rippling, Gusto, or Workday, and ensuring every employee touchpoint runs smoothly and accurately.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of People Operations or HR Generalist experience in a high-growth tech company.
• Hands-on HRIS experience (Rippling, Gusto, Workday, BambooHR or similar).
• Strong multi-state compliance, benefits, and payroll fundamentals.
• Strong data/reporting skills using Google Sheets or Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including background checks and I-9/E-Verify compliance.
• Administer the HRIS, maintain data integrity, generate reports, and manage workflows.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment and respond to payroll/benefits questions.
• Support performance management cycles, scheduling, calibration, and tracking.
• Maintain regulatory compliance across multi-state workforces.
• Document scalable People Ops processes, playbooks, and employee resources.
• Partner with finance on headcount tracking, new-hire requisitions, and reporting.
