Clutch is hiring a People Operations Generalist to own onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance and smooth operations. You will automate manual workflows, partner with IT, Legal, and Finance, and lead vendor relationships from day one.

The role emphasizes building scalable programs, improving processes, and driving measurable outcomes while operating in a fast-moving, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years in an HR Operations or People Operations role.
• Proven ability to launch and run company-wide programs (performance cycles, engagements).
• Experience owning vendor relationships and holding vendors accountable from day one.
• Systems thinking: map processes end to end and redesign workflows.
• Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance across multiple states/entities.
• Sound judgment on when to handle things directly vs escalate to People leadership.
• Confident communicator able to facilitate meetings and run programs.
• Hands-on experience using AI agents and automations to optimize recurring HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Run core People Operations workflows (onboarding, offboarding, lifecycle changes, etc.).
• Serve as a responsive point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
• Establish accountability and regular check-ins with key systems vendors (payroll, HRIS).
• Identify and implement at least one automation or process fix to reduce manual work in HR Ops.
• Build strong relationships with internal IT, Legal, and Finance partners with clear accountability.
