Job summary

Gemini in New York seeks a People Operations Associate to help scale onboarding, offboarding, HR systems, and data management. You will own employee lifecycle processes, ensure accuracy, and support compliance across the People team in a fast-growing environment.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, meticulous data handling, and a proactive approach to automating workflows, with weekly in-person onboarding at our New York office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Human Resources or People Operations within a fast-paced organization.
• 2+ years administering Workday, Dayforce, or a comparable HRIS.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute core People Operations programs across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, engagement initiatives, performance management, and other People Team programs.
• Own the end-to-end onboarding experience, including weekly in-person onboarding and new-hire orientation.
• Partner with People Business Partners and the broader team to deliver a seamless employee experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records in Workday (transitioning to Dayforce) and other HR systems.
• Manage background check processes and respond to HR inquiries with timely, compliant handling.
