Job summary

FedEx is seeking an experienced HR professional to support development, implementation, and administration of HR programs and policies. The role provides consulting to management on employment, recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations.

Essential duties include hiring, coaching, performance management, policy development, and ensuring legal compliance. Travel may be required; a bachelor's degree and five years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, or related discipline required.
• Five (5) years related experience; advanced degree may offset.
• Strong analytical and PC software skills; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversees hiring, terminations, coaching, and staff development; manages performance and recognition programs.
• Plans and directs day-to-day HR operations; develops and implements policies.
• Meets with management to address HR issues and develop action plans.
• Advises on disciplinary actions, PIP, reorganizations, and succession planning.
• Develops HR programs, policies, and communication strategies; ensures policy dissemination.
• Ensures compliance with employment laws and FedEx policies; performs other duties as assigned.
