Job summary

Assembly Software is seeking a People Operations Manager who will own payroll, benefits and HR operations, and manage onboarding and offboarding from end to end. This is a growth-track role designed to develop into Director of Employee Operations as the company scales.

You will lead full-cycle recruiting, partner on employee relations with the EVP, HR, and implement processes and tools that sustain rapid growth without adding headcount. This fully remote role supports a distributed US workforce.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in HR/People Operations with hands-on payroll, benefits and recruiting.
• Experience owning full-cycle recruiting and handling employee relations and performance documentation.
• Ability to spot broken processes and drive fixes; comfortable using AI as a working tool.

Responsibilities

• Run payroll, benefits and HR operations end to end including onboarding and offboarding.
• Lead recruiting for Director level roles with recruiter support as needed.
• Partner with EVP HR on employee relations and performance documentation; triage higher‑risk matters.
• Map processes, improve efficiency and roll out tools to support the team.
