Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking a People Operations Lead to own the day-to-day systems and processes that keep HR running—from onboarding to offboarding and benefits administration. You will steward data accuracy and security while building scalable playbooks as the team grows.

In this role, you’ll partner with legal and People team to support compliance, performance cycles, and headcount metrics, influencing how people programs are executed across locations.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in people operations, HR generalist, or HR coordinator roles.
• Hands-on expertise with at least one major HRIS (Workday, Rippling, BambooHR, or Gusto).
• Working knowledge of employment compliance (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, multi-state).
• Experience administering benefits and onboarding at scale.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own HRIS administration: maintain employee records, run reports, and ensure data hygiene.
• Run end-to-end onboarding: equipment, system access, benefits enrollment, and new-hire orientation across locations.
• Administer benefits programs and leave-of-absence processes; serve as first point of contact for employee questions.
• Support performance reviews, compensation planning, and employment compliance with People team and legal counsel.
• Own offboarding processes including exit interviews, knowledge transfer, and access revocation.
• Build and document scalable people-operations processes and playbooks as headcount grows.
• Track and report on people metrics: headcount, retention, time-to-productivity, engagement survey results.
