EliseAI in New York is hiring a People Operations Associate focused on onboarding and new hire experience, delivering end-to-end processes that welcome new teammates and set them up for success in a high-growth environment. This role emphasizes automation, AI tools, and scalable workflows across HRIS, IT, and training platforms.

You will own onboarding logistics, maintain training materials, support compensation and HR administration, and help with immigration, compliance, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in HR Operations, Compensation and Benefits, or a related field.
• Proven experience with people operations fundamentals, including I-9 verification, onboarding workflows, HRIS data entry, and HR compliance basics.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new hires, including background checks, paperwork, I-9 verification, travel arrangements, and pre-boarding coordination.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during onboarding and manage start date tracking.
• Prepare and distribute onboarding materials and training resources.
• Maintain and update new hire training materials in LMS and in-person sessions.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure system access and equipment setup for new employees.
• Identify opportunities to automate onboarding processes and scale operations.
