Job summary

Courier Health, an NYC-based health tech company, is seeking a People Operations Lead to build the infrastructure, data, and programs that empower a growing team. You’ll report to the Chief People Officer and start as a team of one, using AI to do more than a team of one usually can.

You’ll own compensation, benefits, equity, payroll, and immigration questions, and design scalable processes from offer to exit.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in People Operations or HR at an early-stage tech company that scaled from Series A or B.
• Hands-on experience with a PEO and moving HR administration in-house.
• Proven ownership of total rewards, including band design, benchmarking, and pay equity analysis.
• Experience building AI-powered workflows in an HR or People context.
• Analytically sharp, with advanced spreadsheet skills and strong fluency in HRIS and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own compensation, benefits, and equity, including salary bands, benchmarking, and pay equity analysis.
• Define the people metrics that matter, build dashboards, and turn numbers into actionable insights for leadership.
• Manage lifecycle from offer to exit, handling benefits, leave, payroll, and immigration questions with sound judgment.
• Build scalable processes and cross-functional programs as the company scales.
