Job summary

Wealth.com is seeking an experienced People Operations leader to build and own the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, embedding AI-native practices from day one. You will drive payroll, benefits, and leave administration for US and international employees, implement a central HRIS, and partner with managers to ensure a smooth employee experience.

The role emphasizes automation, data-driven decisions, and cross-border compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in People Operations or HR, hands-on at a fast-growing company.
• Payroll, Benefits & Leave experience across a distributed workforce.
• Employee relations ownership with thorough documentation.
• Strong judgment under pressure and ability to say no when needed.
• Experience implementing HRIS or payroll systems, keeping data clean.
• Builder mindset: develop automations to reduce manual work.
• Nice to have: international payroll or employment experience.

Responsibilities

• Own employee relations conversations, documentation, plans, investigations, and exits end to end.
• Run payroll across the US and international teams; manage benefits with broker and open enrollment.
• Lead program rollouts for compensation, promotions, performance cycles, and benefits across systems.
• Ensure compliance across multiple states and international employment, registrations, and I-9s.
• Implement and own System of Record (e.g., Paylocity) and integrate payroll data across tools.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding to ensure flawless execution.
• Build automated processes to minimize manual work while keeping a personal touch with employees.
• Retire repetitive tasks by delivering self-service and automation across the People function.
