Job summary

Via is on a mission to transform public transportation through data-driven digital networks. As a People Operations Launch Specialist, you will lead deployment launches, ensuring staffing, onboarding, payroll, and HR systems are aligned for success while collaborating with Operations, Recruiting, Legal, IT, and local market teams.

You will manage complex, time-sensitive launch plans, mitigate risks, and partner with leaders and unions as needed to smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in People Operations, HR, or related cross-functional roles.
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating launches and workforce readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead People Operations launch workstreams to staff and ready new operations on time.
• Manage multi-site launch plans with milestones, risks, and timelines.
• Coordinate hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and HR systems with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with local leaders and unions where applicable to address workforce transitions.
• Identify process improvements to scale future deployments.
