Our teams are renowned for their ability to handle a high volume of work with incredible accuracy, while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment. The People Operations Specialist Team will have the opportunity to help define our ways of working within HRIS and CRM tools. In this role, you will strategize on how to improve and innovate processes to deliver a world-class employee experience.

The Global Operations Specialists are a highly collaborative, cross-functional team that drives team readiness, partners with program owners, and assists People Operations in meeting diverse employee needs. You will be the expert in work authorization processes, procedures, and tools, tracking program performance and providing insights to improve the employee experience.

Description

We directly impact the employee experience daily by providing expert support to Apple employees worldwide. We manage data and records across multiple countries, supporting Workday processes and transactions, and partnering with stakeholders to achieve operational excellence and a top-tier employee experience.

Responsibilities may include:

  1. Serving as the point of escalation for day-to-day work authorization cases handled by vendors and partners, ensuring service standards are met.
  2. Consulting on right-to-work and work authorization processes, leading efforts to optimize and harmonize these processes globally.
  3. Partnering across the People Operations organization to ensure team readiness for global program implementations aligned with key events.
  4. Conducting audits, generating reports, and implementing quality control to ensure compliance with regulations.
  5. Testing systems and tools, gathering business requirements, and driving automation to streamline operations.
  6. Supporting the management of systems and processes to optimize global workflows.
  7. Auditing work authorization data in HRIS and ensuring data accuracy.
  8. Collaborating with Enablement & Readiness teams for global program implementations.
  9. Engaging with support partners and stakeholders to maintain current and effective knowledge management systems.
  10. Working in a team environment with diverse teams across locations.
  11. Participating in system testing, gathering requirements, and educating teams on new processes.
  12. Analyzing regional People Operations activities and providing insights.
  13. Reviewing and updating web content to ensure accuracy and improvements.
  14. Building relationships with global teams and collaborators.
  15. Leading business review meetings with program owners and tracking follow-up actions.
  16. Learning new software applications quickly and embracing various internal tools.
  17. Managing employee data and documents in compliance with business and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience across policies, recruiting, compensation, immigration, etc.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective management of escalations and critical situations.
  • High standards for regulatory and compliance handling of employee records.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible approach to problem-solving with recommended solutions.
  • Proven track record of process improvements and customer service excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills, tact, and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in U.S. work authorization (Form I-9) and knowledge of immigration policies in the Americas.
  • Experience with global immigration requirements and work policies in EMEA and APAC.
  • Experience with SilkRoad, Workday, ServiceNow, or similar systems.
