Job summary

Roman Home Services seeks an HR Generalist to support daily human resources needs across field technicians, customer service and dispatch staff, sales professionals, managers, and office personnel. You will manage recruiting, onboarding, benefits, policy execution, HR systems, and records with confidentiality and professionalism.

Reporting to the HR Manager, this role emphasizes accurate administration, compliance, and timely employee support in a fast-paced home-services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
• Three or more years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR practices; ability to escalate when needed.
• Experience using an HRIS and ATS; comfort learning digital workflows and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for field and office positions, including intake, posting, sourcing, interviewing, and offers.
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation, and required documentation.
• Provide employee relations support and assist with workplace investigations.
• Administer benefits, leave programs, and open enrollment activities.
• Maintain HR data in HRIS/ATS, and generate routine reports and dashboards.
• Ensure policy application, compliance, and confidential handling of records.
