Job summary

ALPHA OMEGA CONSTRUCTION GROUP INC is seeking an HR Generalist to support employees and managers across markets, coordinating recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, and HRIS administration. The role focuses on accurate data, streamlined processes, and a positive employee experience.

You will partner with HR and business leaders to align people practices with organizational goals, handle payroll backup, and contribute to HR projects and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and community partnerships: manage postings, candidate workflow and interviews.
• Onboarding/Offboarding: coordinate orientations and onboarding tasks.
• Compensation and benefits: provide administrative support as needed.
• Payroll: backup processing of timesheets, deductions and reporting.
• HRIS: maintain records, ensure confidentiality, support reporting and enhancements.
• HR Administration/Projects: support data management and performance review reminders.
• Compliance: stay updated on federal, state and local laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
