ORS Nasco in Houston, TX is seeking a People Operations Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, performance management, and compliance. This on-site role is based at our Houston facility and collaborates with leaders and employees to deliver a positive employee experience.

You will maintain HRIS data, support local recruitment, and ensure legal compliance while advancing People Operations programs.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or related role.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be willing to travel to out-of-state facilities – 15% travel.

• Serve as a resource for employee questions, concerns, and HR-related guidance.
• Assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Administer benefits, leave programs, and HR policies.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy.

• Support performance management, employee engagement, and training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Prepare HR reports and assist with HR projects and process improvements.
