Job summary

CarParts.com is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist in Long Beach to partner with employees and leaders across departments, supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to engagement.

You will drive onboarding, Day 1 experiences, and onboarding materials, while contributing to HR programs, benefits enrollment, and compliance. The role requires strong organizational skills and a collaborative spirit in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, management, or related field required.
• Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or MBA preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in HR Generalist or related role.
• Experience with full-cycle HR functions including onboarding, benefits, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation scheduling, offer documentation, and systems setup.
• Partner with hiring managers to ensure a seamless and welcoming Day 1 experience for all incoming employees.
• Maintain and continuously improve onboarding materials, checklists, and workflows.
• Support the design and execution of employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
• Support HR programs across the lifecycle, including performance management, learning & development, and benefits open enrollment.
