Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking an HR professional to support the HR Manager and HRBP in implementing local initiatives and executing regional and corporate programs. The role focuses on attracting, developing, retaining, and engaging talent across the operating company to achieve business goals.

The position emphasizes handling core HR processes, coaching on policies, supporting recruitment, payroll administration, and driving an inclusive culture with employee engagement programs.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources management preferred or an equivalent combination of related training and experience
• Bachelor's degree with major or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration or a closely related field required for external candidates but preferred for internal candidates
• HRCI PHR or SPHR certification preferred
• Workday experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute transactional core HR processes (new associate orientation, unemployment claims, onboarding and exit interviews, leave administration, OSHA reporting).
• Provide coaching and guidance to associates and supervisors regarding policy and procedure.
• Support hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment and staffing plans.
• Support and maintain eTime system and payroll-related activities.
• Support HRBP to drive an inclusive and diverse culture.
• Administer programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction levels.
