Job summary

Sysco Baltimore, LLC is seeking an HR professional to support daily HR operations and provide administrative help to implement local and corporate programs. The role focuses on onboarding, unemployment claims, and leave administration while helping attract, develop and engage talent across the OpCo.

You will support hiring managers, drive an inclusive culture, and handle communications, data tracking, and training activities, with heavy emphasis on confidentiality and organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma confirmed; college degree or HR certificate preferred.
• 2-3 years HR generalist, recruitment or employee relations experience or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills; able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Execute transactional HR processes: onboarding, unemployment, leave, and exit interviews.
• Support hiring managers and Talent Acquisition with staffing plans.
• Assist HRBP to foster diversity and inclusion.
• Administer programs to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Create and distribute communications and track data for insights.
• Provide meeting and event support and maintain compliance programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
