Job summary

Carter’s Inc. in Riverside, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll greet customers, help with baby essentials, and support schools preparation while fostering an inclusive team environment.

We value leadership, customer engagement, and strong communication. You will drive sales, mentor staff, and participate in recruiting, training and merchandising to support Carter’s ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Lift up to 40 pounds as needed and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and climbing.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, with at least two closing shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to maintain a customer-focused sales floor.
• Welcome customers and assist with product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to maintain service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze the business and drive KPIs with the team to improve results.
• Assist Store Manager with recruiting, training and developing store staff.
