Ontario Trillium Foundation seeks an Assistant Manager to support Restaurant Managers in building a team that delivers excellent guest experiences and strong top-line sales. This role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and hands-on supervision in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate is energetic, with restaurant or supervisory experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to standards, training, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant supervision and leading teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage basic financials and budgeting.
• Customer service focus and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote a team environment by fostering respect, coaching and feedback, recognizing achievements, resolving employee concerns and communicating effectively.
• Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of Crew Members and Shift Leaders as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
• Support development of team members through cross training, deployment, and delegation of responsibilities; hold team members accountable for behavior and performance.
• Hold guests as highest priority and model exceptional guest service; promote an environment with urgency to satisfy guests.
• Ensure Brand standards and systems are executed; monitor team performance for quality, service, and cleanliness; complete training including ServSafe certification.
• Drive sales through execution of restaurant standards and marketing initiatives; delegate and lead cost control processes; ensure safety and security of team and guests.
