Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Shift Leader to help create a respectful, positive environment and to assist in day-to-day restaurant operations. You will organize and manage the team as they prepare for and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a clean, safe environment.

You will communicate with management to help drive sales, labor balance, and profitability while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading and writing in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Math and financial management.
• 1 year restaurant or retail experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience (preferred).
• Food Safety trained (certified preferred).

Responsibilities

• Communicate job expectations and shift responsibilities to employees
• Hold team members accountable for performance accurately and respectfully
• Support the development of team members
• Create and maintain a guest focused culture
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed
• Ensure shift is staffed and meets guest service goals
• Ensure shift has adequate product for use and prepared as directed
• Action plans to ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment
• Action plans to drive system improvements
• Control costs while also driving service and sales goals
• Manage in-restaurant cash and banking procedures to standard
• Execute promotions with team training and sampling
