Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager and lead shifts in their absence. You will help drive guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and top-line profits while ensuring compliance with standards and laws.

You will participate in brand training, scheduling, inventory, and vendor coordination, building a positive team culture and coaching staff to achieve KPIs in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Basic computer skills for daily operations.
• Strong math and financial basics.
• Proven leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead team meetings with Restaurant Manager.
• Oversee Brand Training programs and certify staff.
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are followed.
• Maintain a guest-focused culture and drive guest satisfaction.
• Assist RM in labor scheduling and staff deployment.
• Support RM with supplier and vendor orders.
• Ensure safe and sanitary operations and compliance.
