Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Restaurant Manager to provide leadership at the restaurant level and manage daily kitchen operations, upholding our quality standards, procedures, philosophies, and culture.

You will teach hourly team on service and food quality, monitor standards, oversee heart of house on shifts, mentor staff, and drive growth through effective financial management and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant operations and teams.
• Ability to coach staff to meet service standards.
• Familiarity with food quality and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach hourly team on service, food and beverage standards.
• Monitor food quality and provide timely feedback to staff.
• Oversee heart of house operations for efficiency and safety.
• Ensure line checks and production meet systems and standards.
• Mentor HOH staff to support talent development.
• Achieve business goals through effective financial management.
• Maintain trained staff and up-to-date recipe and training materials.
• Keep building, equipment and fixtures in good repair.
