Job summary

Border Foods LLC is hiring a General Manager in Loves Park, IL to lead restaurant operations and develop a high-performing team. You will uphold our CORE values and ensure safe, friendly, and quality service to guests.

You will drive profitability through strong leadership, hands-on coaching, and excellent people management while delivering a premier guest experience. This role demands flexibility with hours and a minimum 50-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Required when needed, the ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays.
• This exempt management position is expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, with additional hours as needed.
• ServeSafe Certified
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Ensure the team consistently provides customers great food and a friendly experience.

• Lead in maintaining high safety and quality standards and drive guest satisfaction.
