Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations, reinforce core values, and build a high-performing team delivering great food and guest experiences. The role requires safeguarding health and safety standards while managing staffing, training, and customer service.

You will guide daily operations, drive profitability, and coach staff to excellence in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for career growth and recognition through a strong bonus program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Exempt management role; expects at least 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified and must be 18+ with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Reinforce Border Foods core values: accountability, integrity, family, excellence, teamwork, empowerment.
• Ensure safe, welcoming, and supportive environments for guests and team members.
• Drive fast and friendly service and maintain POS system integrity.
• Lead scheduling, performance monitoring, and ensure health/safety compliance.
