Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery, an Oshkosh company, is seeking an HR Intern to support the HR department across talent acquisition, development, employee relations, and compensation and benefits. Under supervision, you’ll handle HR administration, communications, and onboarding tasks to help drive HR initiatives and improve operations.

You will assist with documentation, data collection, and reporting, while collaborating with HR professionals on projects to enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Completed at least sophomore year coursework (or equivalent).
• Strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 GPA preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support business units with employment documentation and general HR administrative functions.
• Act as a liaison between departments and divisions by facilitating communication and information sharing.
• Assist in administering HR policies and procedures under supervision.
• Collect and analyze HR data and assist in preparing reports and recommendations.
• Help prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
• Support employee relations activities and assist in resolving employee inquiries.
• Provide on‑floor presence and support to ensure employees have access to HR assistance.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve the effectiveness of HR and operations.
• Assist with HR functions including talent acquisition, talent development, and related activities.
• Assist with new hire orientation and employee onboarding.
• Collaborate with HR team members on assigned tasks and special projects.
