Job summary

GPM Investments LLC seeks an HR professional who will partner directly with employees and managers in a hands-on role. The position emphasizes practical, business-focused HR support, addressing concerns, coaching leaders, and applying HR policies in real-world scenarios.

The ideal candidate builds trusted relationships, navigates employee relations matters, and provides practical guidance across HR needs. This is a hands-on role rather than analytics-focused and supports ongoing HR operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• SHRM Certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex matters to appropriate staff.
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies to ensure compliance.
• Assist with employee recruiting, onboarding and off-boarding.
• Assist with planning and execution of benefits enrollment and staff events.
• Prepare written communications for the company (letters, memos, emails).
• Review, tabulate and enter data into systems.
• Handle incoming calls, take messages and support interoffice communication.
• Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
