Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center, help with rentals using U-Scan, move and hook up trucks, and inspect equipment on the lot.

The role offers on-the-job education, safety training, and opportunities to advance. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; training for propane and forklift operations is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan tech to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane fill (certification offered during employment).
• Operate a forklift (certification offered during employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
