Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly face of our center, assisting customers with products and services and ensuring smooth rentals and returns. You will inspect equipment, educate customers, and handle invoices while using U-Scan tech for inventory management.

Roles include loading/unloading equipment, propane filling and hitch wiring, with forklift responsibilities possible after training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring and fill propane when certified.
• Drive a forklift when certified; certification offered after employment.
