Job summary

U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated Customer Service Representatives to act as the face of our exceptional service. You will help customers with products and services, manage rentals with U-Scan, and assist with moving and hooking up trucks and trailers.

The role includes inspecting equipment, answering questions, preparing invoices, and ongoing training through U-Haul University. Certifications for forklift and propane are offered on employment, with regular safety and health programs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs; physical demands described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane filling (certification offered on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
