Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help supervise staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with emphasis on safety, asset protection, and maintaining clean, well-stocked environments at a part-time capacity.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
