Job summary

Border Foods LLC, a Taco Bell franchisee, is seeking an Assistant Manager in North Dakota. You will lead restaurant operations, coach a diverse team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while upholding company values.

You will manage schedules, control costs, drive sales, and develop Team Members. The role requires flexibility, a safety-first mindset, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position; minimum 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe certified.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and build a strong, capable team.
• Uphold Border Foods CORE values and deliver safe, quality service.
• Schedule staffing, monitor performance, and ensure accountability.
• Drive profitability by managing costs and analyzing the P&L.
• Recruit, train, and develop Team Members; conduct orientations.
• Enforce cash handling policies and prevent losses.
• Maintain health, safety, and compliance standards.
