Job summary

Border Foods LLC in Brookings, SD is hiring a hands-on Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations at our Taco Bell location. You will build a strong team, deliver great guest experiences, and uphold our CORE values of Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing schedules, driving sales, controlling costs, training new hires, and ensuring food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• One year of restaurant or retail experience or equivalent education.
• Experience with sales building and P&L statements.
• Proven track record of hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management role with a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team delivering great food and a friendly experience.
• Lead and supervise staff, ensuring high standards of customer service, safety, and quality.
• Schedule, train, and develop team members while controlling costs and driving sales.
