Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, coach a diverse team, and uphold our CORE values. You will drive guest satisfaction with fast, friendly service, manage staffing and labor, and monitor P&L to optimize performance.

The role requires a minimum of 50 hours per week, ServeSafe certification, and a proven track record in hospitality leadership. Benefits include top pay, bonus opportunities, and growth focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays.
• This non-exempt management position is expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and provide great food and friendly service.
• Lead scheduling and labor control while ensuring standards.
• Drive profitability by monitoring the P&L and making appropriate adjustments.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members for long-term success.
• Handle customer concerns and uphold Border Foods values.
