Ultimate Staffing is seeking an Employee Experience Specialist in California to support HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, engagement, performance management, and compliance. You will partner with leaders and staff to foster a positive culture and deliver an exceptional employee experience.

The role involves recruiting coordination, onboarding, engagement initiatives, performance reviews, training, and maintaining records across HRIS and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of HR, People Operations, or Employee Experience experience.
• Knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting, candidate coordination, and onboarding activities.
• Support employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.
• Assist with performance reviews, training, and employee development programs.
• Maintain employee records and support HRIS, benefits, leave administration, and employee changes.
• Serve as a resource for employee questions, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns.
• Support compliance efforts, investigations, and HR documentation.
• Track HR metrics and identify opportunities to improve processes and employee experience.
