Job summary

NCCPA is seeking an Employee Learning & Engagement Specialist to coordinate and enhance the employee experience throughout the lifecycle, including onboarding, development, engagement, wellness, recognition, and internal communications. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Human Resources and requires on-site presence at the Johns Creek, GA headquarters at least weekly.

The ideal candidate has a background in HR/development, four years of related experience, and familiarity with HRIS/LMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or related field.
• At least four years of progressive experience in employee development, engagement, training, people operations, human resources, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance fundamentals.
• Experience facilitating and/or coordinating both in-person and virtual training and evaluating training options and alternatives.
• Experience with HRIS and LMS systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Traliant, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer onboarding programs, including new hire orientation and learning pathways.
• Partner with managers on employee engagement, culture, and retention efforts.
• Lead initiatives to promote engagement across hybrid and remote work environments.
• Coordinate employee recognition, service awards, and engagement programs.
• Assist with analyzing annual employee engagement surveys and action planning.
• Conduct employee check-ins and support improvement plans from feedback.
• Promote wellness initiatives with Health and Wellness teams and partners.
• Coordinate and facilitate training programs, meetings, webinars, and workshops.
• Manage required training programs including cybersecurity and harassment prevention.
• Maintain training calendars and records; track attendance and completion.
• Measure effectiveness of learning programs through assessments and feedback.
• Monitor training requests and expenses for trends and future programs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify development opportunities.
• Evaluate training vendors and serve as a resource for staff and leadership.
• Create consistent employee-facing communications about HR programs and resources.
• Manage HR content on intranet/SharePoint and other platforms.
• Partner with Communications on newsletters and announcements.
• Support special projects and employee-related activities as needed.
