National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) seeks an Employee Learning & Engagement Specialist in Johns Creek, GA, to coordinate onboarding, development pathways, and employee engagement within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HRM, OD, or related field; experience may substitute.
  • Minimum four years in employee development, engagement, training, or HR.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance fundamentals.
  • Experience facilitating in-person and virtual training.
  • Experience with HRIS/LMS systems (ADP Workforce Now, Traliant).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Design onboarding experience with orientation and learning paths.
  • Develop initiatives to strengthen engagement, culture, retention in hybrid environment.
  • Coordinate recognition, wellness, and engagement programs.
  • Support annual engagement survey and action planning.
  • Coordinate and facilitate learning programs and training events.
  • Maintain training calendars and records.
  • Evaluate programs using surveys and metrics.
  • Partner with managers to identify development needs.
  • Research training vendors and opportunities for employees.

Employee Learning & Engagement Specialist

Full Time Professional Johns Creek, GA, US

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $63,000.00 Annually

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for NCCPA as NCCPA will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas.

As the Employee Learning & Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and enhancing the employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle, including onboarding, professional development, employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and internal communications.

Who We Are

National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is the only certifying organization for physician assistants in the United States. Established as a not-for-profit organization in 1974, we are dedicated to assuring the public that board certified PAs meet established standards of clinical knowledge and cognitive skills upon entry into practice and throughout their careers. All U.S. states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories have decided to rely on NCCPA certification as one of the criteria for licensure or regulation of PAs.

Location:NCCPA is a hybrid work environment with our headquarters located in Johns Creek, Georgia. NCCPA has determined that the telecommuting status of this position is hybrid, which means that employees in hybrid positions are allowed to split their work hours between working remotely and working onsite at the NCCPA headquarters. The duties of this position require that the candidate report on-site to the Johns Creek headquarters, at minimum, on a weekly basis and live within the commutable distance. NCCPA has defined commutable distance as within the State of Georgia and within 85 miles of ground transportation, one-way between an employee’s primary residence and the NCCPA headquarters in Johns Creek, Georgia.

How Will You Make a Difference? You will…
  • Design and coordinate a welcoming and effective onboarding experience, including new hire orientation, resources, agendas, and learning pathways.
  • Develop and support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, connection, culture, and retention across NCCPA’s hybrid work environment.
  • Coordinate employee recognition, appreciation, wellness, and engagement programs, including service awards and other employee-focused initiatives.
  • Support the annual employee engagement survey, employee check-ins, and action planning based on employee feedback.
  • Coordinate and facilitate learning and professional development programs, including workshops, webinars, lunch and learns, and required organizational training.
  • Maintain training calendars, attendance, completion records, and other learning-related documentation.
  • Evaluate learning and engagement programs through surveys, assessments, feedback, and program metrics.
  • Partner with managers, subject matter experts, and committees to identify employee and organizational development needs.
  • Research training vendors and serve as a resource for employees and managers seeking professional development opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain employee-facing HR communications and content across the intranet, SharePoint, newsletters, announcements, and other communication channels.
Hard Skills You Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management , Organizational Development, or related field. Experience in lieu of education will be considered as well.
  • At least four years of progressive experience in employee development, engagement, training, people operations, human resources, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance fundamentals.
  • Experience facilitating and/or coordinating both in-person and virtual training and evaluating training options and alternatives.
  • Experience with HRIS and LMS systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Traliant, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.

  • Experience supporting employee engagement initiatives, onboarding programs, or workplace operations.
  • Training or HR-related specialized credentials.
  • Knowledge of adult learning approaches, theories, and curriculum development.
