Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a People Data Analyst to join its onsite People Analytics team in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on turning People data into actionable insights for HR and business leaders, emphasizing data manipulation and interpretation over dashboard creation.

You will partner with the analytics lead, handle large Workday datasets, and translate findings into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders while helping strengthen data governance and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning and structuring large datasets for analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to explain data significance.
• Experience with HRIS or workforce data; Workday preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to prioritize across multiple requests.
• Prior HR/People Analytics analytics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the People Analytics Lead on reporting and analysis requests, prioritizing based on business impact and urgency.
• Manipulate and structure large, complex datasets from Workday for analysis.
• Analyze workforce indicators such as headcount, turnover, hiring, tenure, and related trends.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable narratives for HR Partners, HR Ops leadership, and business stakeholders.
• Support the build-out of data governance and definitions standards to improve consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate on the dashboard and reporting framework, providing analytical context and validation.
• Handle ad hoc data requests balancing depth with turnaround time.
• Spot data quality issues or gaps and propose solutions to strengthen reporting reliability.
