Job summary

Safeway in Boise, Idaho seeks an experienced Human Resources leader to drive culture, talent development, and organizational effectiveness across the business. You will partner with executives, design and implement succession planning, performance management, and HR programs aligned to business goals.

You will coach leaders, manage change, ensure compliance, and foster an inclusive environment while traveling 5-10% to support multi-state operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, labor employment law, training, business or other related fields.
• 3-5 years HR related experience including consulting, culture, performance management, training, investigations, compensation and benefits, change management.
• Experience driving talent and culture backed by metrics and data.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate culture to drive a positive Associate Experience across business units, including Diversity and Inclusion, Engagement, Talent Management, Training, Compensation, and Compliance.
• Lead Talent, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion and Total Rewards strategies.
• Lead corporate HR projects to support associate experience aligning with business goals.
• Partner with business leaders to design organization changes and align HR programs to objectives.
• Coach leaders on people-related matters and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
