Job summary

Keller Executive Search partnering with a growing residential community operator seeks a People & Culture Manager to strengthen HR across corporate and field operations, handling day-to-day employee matters and building scalable HR practices.

You will work with senior leadership and community managers on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workforce planning, with occasional travel to residential communities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and generalist responsibilities.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple locations or operating environments.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, employment practices, and workplace compliance.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with sound judgment and discretion.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, or workforce management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR operations across corporate offices and communities.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance concerns, disciplinary processes, and investigations.
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding for corporate, property management, maintenance, and administrative positions.
• Review and improve HR policies, procedures, employee documentation, and internal people processes.
• Support annual performance reviews and help managers establish clear expectations for employees.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and coordinate payroll, benefits, leave, and employment‑related documentation.
• Provide practical HR guidance to community managers and other operational leaders.
• Track workforce trends and identify opportunities to strengthen retention, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
• Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements.
