Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a strategic leader to guide its People Operations, partnering with regional leaders to align talent, culture, and performance across communities and the service center.

You will oversee talent acquisition, employee experience, learning, and HR operations, building scalable systems that support hiring, development, retention, and compliant people practices across states.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership across multiple communities.
• Experience improving staffing, retention and service outcomes in distributed settings.
• Proven ability to hire and develop leaders and build accountable teams.
• Experience leading HR, legal, and compliance across states.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People Operations, talent acquisition, employee experience, and learning functions; set clear priorities, service standards, and measures of success.
• Build a consistent, responsive HR partnership for regional and community leaders, with regular communication, escalation paths, and follow-through.
• Advise senior leadership on workforce risks, organization design, staffing needs, leadership capability, and change management.
• Partner with Operations on proactive pipelines for hard-to-fill and leadership roles, vacancy aging, recruiting capacity, and succession needs.
• Own the employee experience strategy from onboarding through development, recognition, engagement, and exit; use feedback and turnover trends to improve it.
• Provide oversight and coaching on investigations, corrective action, performance concerns, and complex employee relations matters.
