Job summary

Serco is seeking a General Clerk III in Biloxi, MS for a temporary 6- to 8-month assignment to support retirees’ pension processing on a dynamic team. You will review applications, process updates, and handle customer correspondence using client-based software, while adhering to Serco and PBGC policies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of relevant experience, solid Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of relevant work experience in benefits, payroll, HR, or related fields is preferred.
• Microsoft Office knowledge and experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support routine case processing by performing clerical functions for processing activities.
• Review incoming applications for completeness.
• Submit requests for customer correspondence using client-based software.
• Review incoming customer communication, mail, and returned mail.
• Process customer requested account updates.
• Respond to customer requests.
• Adhere to PBGC, Serco, and team policies.
• Embodied the Serco values.
