Job summary

Serco is seeking a Junior Benefits Administrator in Chicago to support retirement pension processing on a dynamic team. This temporary 6-8 month role involves processing benefit applications, benefit calculations requests, and client account updates, with strict adherence to policies and values at Serco and PBGC.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2 years of relevant experience, and can obtain a Public Trust clearance; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of relevant work experience in benefits-related fields, payroll, HR, or customer service.
• Microsoft Office knowledge and experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine entry level case processing activities such as processing benefit applications and requests for benefit calculations.
• Process client requested account updates and customer-facing data entry.
• Submit requests for customer correspondence using client-based software.
• Adhere to PBGC, Serco, and team policies; embody the Serco values.
