Job summary

Serco is seeking a General Clerk III for a temporary role (approximately 6–8 months) to support retirement pensions on a dynamic team. The role involves processing routine case activities, reviewing incoming applications for completeness, and handling customer communications with client-based software.

You will work under supervision, adhere to policies, and contribute to high-quality pension administration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of relevant work experience in benefits, payroll, or customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming applications for completeness.
• Submit requests for customer correspondence via client-based software.
• Review mail and returned mail from customers.
• Process customer requested account updates.
• Respond to customer requests.
• Maintain knowledge of benefits administration concepts and procedures.
• Work under supervision and adhere to PBGC, Serco, and team policies.
