Job summary

Northwest Administrators, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Pension Accounting & Contract Review to lead the Pension Accounting/Contract department, oversee daily functions, develop staff, and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in accounting and contract review activities.

You will liaise with internal teams, employers, and union representatives, drive operational excellence, and support strategic initiatives while maintaining high quality and value-driven work within an amazing team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading teams of 2–3+ years.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise departmental operations, including oversight of Supervisors and Staff Assistants.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in accounting functions and contract review processes.
• Review and approve labor agreements, extension agreements, and addendums for compliance.
• Communicate with Local Unions and Employers to resolve contract and accounting issues.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to support performance tracking and decision-making.
• Support the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and system enhancements.
• Coordinate system updates, releases, and procedural documentation.
• Assist senior leadership with special projects and strategic initiatives.
• Perform departmental payroll and other related administrative duties.
